The bus will be parked outside the Ship and Royal pub in central South Shields from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, May 30, to offer residents their Covid-19 springtime booster.
People can jump on board to receive their jab, available to those eligible and over the age of 12.
MELISSA Bus is a double-decker which can be hired by any organisation involved in delivering healthcare, health education and training.
It has a range of on-board medical facilities and has been a feature of the North East’s roads since early 2019.
