People who have used the Sexual Health Service during the pandemic are being asked to give feedback on their experience.

Gateshead and South Tyneside Sexual Health Teams introduced rapid changes in response to COVID 19 to ensure maintenance  of service delivery providing continuous provision for service users.

The outbreak of COVID and social distancing guidance impacted the way services operate in regards to consultations, limiting the number of service users on site, resulting in Sexual Health Services operating in a slightly different format to ensure the safety of patients and staff in compliance with national guidance.

Sexual Health Services are now operating a telephone consultation appointment system and have recently launched digital platforms to support the ongoing response to the pandemic.

The survey design aims to improve service user experience, by gaining valuable feedback from patients on the changes Sexual Health Services have made.

Patient input will be used to help us improve access and design of services, and to implement new changes by consulting the local population.

All survey responses will be confidential; no individuals will be identifiable from this questionnaire, or any report or publications arising from it.

Data will be used internally to recommend service improvements provided by anonymous participation from this survey.

It should take no longer than five minutes to complete the questions below.
